Video Tour Shows Federal Way High School Beyond the Pretty Entrance
Federal Way High School may have a remodeled exterior, but behind that façade the school needs more than a makeover. As the school, now more than 80 years old, continues to deteriorate, it's becoming harder to support a quality education for the students who attend there.
Take a video tour of Federal Way High School and hear from students, staff members, community members and the children who will one day attend the school.
A capital levy that voters will decide on February 14 will give local taxpayers the opportunity to rebuild the district's flagship school for future generations – at close to half the cost of construction. Read more at www.fwps.org/info/levy.
Tour the School
Parents and community members are invited to take a personal tour of Federal Way High School. Students and staff members will lead the tours. No need to RSVP, just show up and be sure to wear your workout shoes. Federal Way High School is approximately 1/4 mile from the front entrance to the back and the tour will be approximately double that.
Tours will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. February 3, 4 and 6.
Federal Way High School is located at 30611-16th Avenue S., Federal Way, WA. Each of these tours is scheduled to coincide with a game or other event at the school, so we recommend visitors park on the west side of the building between Memorial Field and the school, in the area marked "event parking". Look for the entrance marked "Event Entrance." Tours groups will meet at the counter inside the Event Entrance. On Feb. 6, parking may also be available near the main entrance that faces Pacific Highway South.
