Go2 – Grades Online Gets a Standards-Based Upgrade

Parents -- look for a letter from the district with user IDs and passwords.

We’re excited to introduce Go2, a robust and flexible grades online program that will give Federal Way Public Schools’ secondary students and their parents a powerful tool for keeping track of their academic progress.  You can access Go2 from the district webpage, where you'll also  find a quick guide to navigating Go2, or from your child's school webpage.    Or you can go directly to fwps.globalscholar.com.

This updated version of Grades Online (GO) incorporates the power standards that are the foundation of the district’s Standards-Based Education (SBE) system.  Parents and students can check to see which power standards the student has met, as well the results of recent assessments, and homework assignments -- all in ‘real time.’ As soon as the grade book is updated, parents will see the changes.

Navigating Go2 is easy and intuitive, but there will also be a ‘how to use Go2’ video added to the website in the near future to help users make the most of this powerful new system. This is just the first phase of Go2.  In February, more features will be added based on the input we receive from teachers, parents and students. Next fall, there will be even more to look forward to, including tools and links to resources.

At Federal Way Public Schools, we recognize the powerful impact of parents being actively involved in their child’s education. Parents who’ve used the grades online (GO) system in the past already know the value of being able to check in on their child’s academic progress whenever they like. We encourage parents to use Go2 early and often, and to use that information as a starting point for conversations with their child and his or her teachers.
