Technology Levy Passes – Thank You, Voters
The King County Elections Bureau has certified the results of the all-mail February 9 election. Federal Way schools’ replacement technology levy passed by 619 votes, or 51.54% of the returned ballots.
When the polls closed on Feb. 9, the count at that time showed the measure failing by 160 votes. However, by the time the results were updated at 4:30 p.m. the very next day, the measure was ahead with 50.2% of the vote, and it has gained ground at each posting since.
